Slack
Turn conversations into work and use Maya without leaving Slack.
The Slack integration connects a Slack workspace to one FortyOne workspace. People link their own identities before FortyOne returns private workspace data or creates work for them.
What you can do

Connect Slack
- A FortyOne workspace administrator opens Settings → Integrations → Slack.
- Select Connect Slack, choose the correct Slack workspace, and approve the installation.
- Use Resync channels after channel access changes.
- Each member follows the private account-link prompt the first time FortyOne needs their identity.
Slack never grants additional FortyOne permissions. Every command, Maya answer, and preview uses the linked member’s current workspace and team access.

- Administrators can add workspace-specific terminology and operating guidance for Maya in Slack settings.
Disconnect
Open the connected workspace menu under Settings → Integrations → Slack and choose Disconnect workspace. Slash commands, message actions, previews, and Maya responses stop for that installation.
