Calendar
Connect Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar to plan around real availability.
Calendar connections belong to individual accounts. Each member can connect Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar, or both. One connection is primary and is used when FortyOne writes scheduled work.
What syncs
| Data | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Meetings and calendar events | Show existing commitments and availability |
| Working hours | Define when Maya is allowed to reserve focus time |
| Scheduled work | Add and update focus blocks on the primary calendar |
| Meeting links and details | Open an event from the FortyOne calendar when access allows |
Connect a calendar
- Open Settings → Account → Calendar.
- Choose Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar and approve the requested permissions.
- Connect the second provider if you need its events considered for availability.
- Mark the calendar where FortyOne should write scheduled work as primary.
- Open Calendar and run a sync if recent events have not appeared yet.
If a connection needs additional write permission, FortyOne asks you to reconnect once. Existing events remain visible from the last successful sync while a provider is temporarily unavailable.
Availability and writing are separate
A secondary connection can contribute busy time without receiving FortyOne work blocks. Only the primary writable connection is used for scheduled work.
